We hired Varoco to do a complete kitchen renovation. They were timely and professional. Fabulous attention to detail with solid wood cabinets and dovetailed joinery. Building relationships with their clients is key and they go above and beyond with their customer service. Project included replacing flooring, installing a pocket door and transom window between the kitchen and pantry, re-orienting the kitchen to provide an island while keeping the kitchen open and functional. They incorporated all of our ideas into their designs. We couldn't be happier with the finished product.

We know Mr. Juan Varela since 2007 and their excellent work on kitchen upgrades. I have many friend who know him and their good work performance, therefore we made the arrangement with him to upgrade our kitchen at Overlea Dr. (Kitchener. On) Juan was clear explaining us the project, what was covered within his price as well as the acquisition of materials, the determination of colors, door hinges options, drawer slides etc. He show us the different options and price ranges with examples included, he also showed us several catalogs to choose to our convenience. He clearly explained us the price of materials and labor before we decided to hire him as our contract to do our kitchen. We contacted Mr. Juan Varela sometime in May 2014 with a view to have our kitchen renovated. We discussed on the phone our needs and we were met at our premises on May 5th 2014. At this time, Mr. Varela provided us with a written quote for resurfacing the kitchen cabinetry, new Island, new counter top and new doors including panels and crown molding. He spend a considerable amount of time explaining to us the quote, terms and conditions and the total amount for the work to be done together with deposits and final payment. We ask him for other alternatives that would be cost efficient in total renovation. We met again in June 12,2014 and September 9th, 2014 at which time a new quote was provided to us for new custom cabinetry, an Island with top and bottom shelves in hard rock maple, including ceiling crown molding, doors and drawers amongst other things that were explained in great details. In addition, samples of the cabinetry and stain provided for our consent. The terms and conditions were also provided in that the price included materials, labor, ensemble, finish, delivery, installation at premises without any hardware. The price did not included door and hardware, appliances and fixtures. Prior to the commencement at the work, final design layouts were provided by Varoco Inc, which was to be approved by us. Warranty of the above work was also provided. Payment terms included a down payment of 35% prior to the start of the work, on delivery of the materials to the premises, another 35% advancement and on completion the final balance of 30% to be paid. He explained everything in detail so that we understood the whole process from start to finish and most importantly the payment side of things. Renovations started early in December 2014 and the work completed on December 31th, 2014. The final balance of 30% was paid in full to Mr. Varela I January 2015. We are very happy with his work, and as per his specific quotation, he has maintained a very high standard and has not deviated in any form by cutting concerns or using inferior materials. We have now engaged him to remodel our fire place and mantel. Being proud of our newly renovated kitchen, we have recommended him to our friend.

Upon meeting with Juan and his associate they clearly outlined the work and financial amounts based on my budget and requests for my kitchen renovations. I was provide with 2 invoices which broke down the cost for each job which included what was provided by Juan and his associate and as well listed the material I am responsible for. The invoices as well included the schedule of payments to be received and at this time all work and payments are in line with what we agreed upon.
